Our Story: An Encounter at the Foot of the Cross
Trading Places Ministry was born from a deeply personal encounter with Jesus Christ—an experience that forever changed my understanding of His love, His sacrifice, and what it truly means to serve others.
At the foot of the cross, I experienced a moment that would transform the direction of my life. It was there that Jesus asked me a question I would never forget: “Would you trade places with Me?”
In that sacred moment, my heart was overwhelmed with love for Jesus. As I contemplated His suffering on the cross, I wanted nothing more than to relieve Him of His pain. My answer was yes—not because I fully understood what that answer would mean for my life, but because of the love I felt for Him.
That encounter planted something deep within my heart: a desire to see others through the eyes of Christ and to love them as He loves us.
What began as a deeply personal encounter with Jesus Christ became a calling to love and serve others as He loves us.
Trading Places Ministry was founded on the belief that faith must be expressed through compassion and action. We are called to recognize Christ in those who are suffering, struggling, or feeling forgotten.
Our vision is to create a community where individuals and families facing hardship can find hope, dignity, and a renewed sense of belonging. One of our dreams is to establish a tiny-house community that will provide shelter and support to those in need.
Through prayer, kindness, and practical service, we seek to answer Christ's call to love one another.
