Why We’re Here

Trading Places Ministry was born from a simple but life-changing call: to see others through the eyes of Christ and to put His love into action. We believe faith calls us not only to love one another, but to serve, encourage, and walk alongside those who are struggling.

Faith in Action

We believe love is meant to be lived. Trading Places Ministry seeks to walk alongside people who are struggling by responding to practical needs with compassion, dignity, prayer, and hope. Whether through housing, community support, outreach, or simply being present when someone needs help, our desire is to serve as God leads.

Our Story

Trading Places Ministry began with a deeply personal encounter with Jesus at the foot of the cross. In that moment, I was confronted with a question that would change the direction of my life: “Would you trade places with Me?” My answer was yes—not because I understood where that yes would lead, but because of the overwhelming love I felt for Christ and what He had done for us.

A Vision for Community

We envision a community where people who have faced hardship can find more than a place to live—they can find dignity, stability, belonging, and hope. Through a future tiny house community, Trading Places Ministry hopes to create a place where individuals can rebuild their lives surrounded by compassion, encouragement, and the love of Christ.
